To create an invoice for a job, start by logging in to Plentific and selecting ‘Invoices’ at the top left of your dashboard.
At the top right of the next screen, select ‘+ Create an invoice’.
The next screen will ask you to add ‘items’ to your invoice. This simply refers to individual charges, such as different materials or services.
You will need to click ‘Add invoice item’, then select whether the charge is:
- Fixed price
- Per hour
- Per day
- Per meter
- Per item
You will also need to provide a description of the item along with a cost.
Once you have added all the necessary items to your invoice, select ‘Add recipient’.
The next page will ask you to provide:
- A name for the recipient
- A due date for the invoice
- A reference (unique ID)
- An email address for the recipient
- The recipient’s postcode and address
- A message for the recipient (optional)
When you are done, select ‘Review and send’. The final screen will ask you to look over the details of your invoice before sending it. To finish, select ‘Send invoice’.
