How do I edit, finalise or delete a report?

New to TouchRight?

  • Make sure you have synced the report back from the app to the dashboard.

  • If you have created the report directly on the dashboard, review and mark it as 'final' so it can be downloaded as a PDF.

Finalise your report quickly with a single click

  • If you don't need to open, review or edit your report, then you can easily mark it as 'final' by clicking the 'tick' icon shown in the 'Manage Reports' screen. You can access this page by selecting 'Reports' in the left menu and 'Manage Reports'.

Review and check or edit your report before finalising

  • Select the 'Reports' tab in the left menu and choose 'Manage Reports' or click 'Manage' in the Reports tile.

  • Find the report, and click the pencil icon next to the report you want to access.

  • Review the report, making any final edits and changes necessary.

  • Click the 3 line icon on the right of the screen to review and move to sections, and move/hide as required.

  • Edit the report with options to:

    • Photos - delete, rotate, copy and move to a different section of the report, or drag and drop photos in the same area to place in a particular order. Or use 'copy/move photos' button at the top of the screen to copy or move photos from one section to another.

  • Edit information - make any copy amends, fix typos etc.

  • Add or edit issues - click the 'tag' icon below any question to add a follow-up issue if required.

  • Hide, rename or reorder sections - use the side menu and click the 'eye' button to hide/unhide as required.

  • Link report - click the pencil icon (if available) and choose to 'link' to the previous report (to see what you said last time and to produce a comparison report), or you can 'unlink' to a previous report (perhaps if linked in error).

  • Once you’re happy with the report, click the ‘Save and Complete’ button at the top of the screen. This locks the report and it is then available to download or email.

Deleting a report

You can delete reports that have been created in error or if they are no longer required, however it should be carried out with caution.

The bin icon next to a report will delete it and it will no longer be available. We always recommend that you have the PDF downloaded and stored separately before deleting.

Please note: it is possible to recover a deleted report, by clicking the 'Deleted Reports' button. This is only available for accounts on an All Inclusive plan.
