If you have completed a report on the wrong template, unfortunately we cannot change the template but you have two options:
1. Hide Sections and Change the Report Name
If you’ve managed to add all the details in that you need you can hide any unnecessary sections and simply change the name your report so that the final PDF is viewed as named, with your visible sections.
To change a report name you will need to have the report on the TouchRight browser dashboard. If you’ve completed it in the app sync it over before proceeding.
Click the pencil icon next to the report you would like to edit.
In the Report Name field click the dropdown and select the name you would like to appear in your PDF.
Then click ‘Save’ if you're still working on the report or 'Save & Complete' if the report is finalised.
2. Recreate the Report
There some cases where the above is not suitable. In these instances you may prefer to recreate the report.
To do this you will need to select the 'Create' button in the Reports Tile or click 'Reports' > 'Create Report' in the dashboard side menu.
When the new window opens enter the relevant details and click 'Create Report for Dashboard' button. Please note that the date and time your report is scheduled for will be the date and time that will show on your final report using this method.
Click the pencil icon in the actions column adjacent to the report which was completed on the incorrect template, locate the first area you want to copy over and use your computers' copy feature to add it to your clipboard.
Next you need to open the new report you created on the dashboard (Reports>Manage or SideMenu>MyReports) by selecting the pencil icon adjacent to that and using your computer paste feature to add the text you want copied over and ensuring you save each time new information is added. Unfortunately, this is a lengthy process and you will need to do it for each part you would like to be in the new report.
Alternatively, you could download a PDF copy of the report completed on the incorrect template and have it open in one window on your computer and then copy and paste the information from the PDF into the new report template window you have open which you may find quicker.
Once you have copied over all of the text you will need to add your photos. You can do this either by adding them directly from your computer into the new report or, if they are stored on your device camera roll, click the 'Lock for Sync' button (located in the top right banner of the report edited screen if you have the report open or, in the actions column adjacent to the report in the main reports screen area)...
...and push the report to the app as a new appointment.
Next open the app and click the synchronise button. Locate the correct report and you can then add the photographs in from your camera roll in the relevant places, complete your report and sync it back to the dashboard as you would normally to finalise your report.
