Once you've created your PDF report and you click the 'download' icon, you will see a Download Settings menu, where you can select what information you'd like to display in your report.

Depending on what information has been added against the property, and what type of report you are downloading, different settings will be available to you. Here's a quick recap of the different settings:

Display Account Contact Details - this gives you the option to display your company name, address, email and telephone number on the front cover of the report. and it will be displayed in the top right corner. The information can be edited in the Account>Settings area.

Display Tenancy Dates - if you have chosen to add a tenancy against the property and the report you want to download was created during that tenancy period, then you have the option to display the tenancy start/end dates on the front of the report.

Display Landlord Name - if you have chosen to add a landlord against the property and the report you want to download was created during that landlord period, then you have the option to display the landlord name/s on the front of the report.

Display Tenant Name - if you have chosen to add a tenancy against the property and the report you want to download was created during that tenancy period, then you have the option to display the tenant name/s on the front of the report.

Display Last Edited Date - you have the option to display the date that the report was last edited on the front of the report. This is useful if you have edited a report to add/change any missing/incorrect details, and want to download the report again to send out to the tenant or landlord.

If the report that you are downloading is a 'linked' report, then there will be some additional options available.

The 'linking' feature allows you to take the previous report information with you when completing your report, so that you can see what you said last time for comparison purposes. Once you have edited and finalised your report on the dashboard you have a number of options to download your PDF.

Create a Full Comparison Report - if you want to compare your previous report and new report, then make sure this is set to 'yes'. The report will include your full previous report contents and photos, together with your new report contents and photos, so that a 'before and after' comparison can be made. Previous report information and photos for each question/item will be shown below your new report information and photos.

Create a Changes Only Report - if you have selected 'yes' to see a full comparison report, then you can also choose to create a changes only report. This report will only display the parts of report where things have changed between your previous report and new report. So it will not reproduce your previous report in full - only the items that have changed.

Linked Report Shading - if you want to display your previous report comments and photos shaded in a pale grey to make it easier to review the report, you can set this (see example report below). It is not set as default - it can be enabled in the Account>Settings screen under 'Linked Report Shading'.

Highlighting Changed Inventory Items - if an item, description, condition or notes inventory item has been changed or edited when a report is linked, you now choose to show those items in bold/underlined, to make it easier to review the report (see example report below). This setting can be enabled when you download your report.
