How do I complete a linked report in the app?
How do I complete a linked report in the app?
Updated over a week ago

When scheduling your appointment or creating a report, you will have the option to link to a previously completed report to see what was recorded last time.

If this option is available to you for a particular property, you will see details within the 'Will Link To' column in the create appointment or create report window, showing you details of the previous report.

You can preview the available report, if you wish, by clicking the magnifying glass icon.

If you wish to proceed to link the report, select the property and click the check box adjacent to that report.

Add the appointment date and time and then you have two options:

  • Schedule Appointment for App - select this option to create the appointment and compile your report within the app.

  • Create Report to Dashboard - select this option if you wish to enter information into the report prior to your appointment or you will be using the remote reporting feature. Important: if using this option once you have made your changes ensure you click 'Save' and the 'Lock for Sync' icon to proceed to schedule your appointment and schedule for the App otherwise the report will not be available for you in the app.

Within the App; select the synchronised icon (the cog) to download your appointments as usual, open the relevant property appointment report.

You will see a 'linked' icon in the lower level corner, which will reveal the previous report information and photos when tapped:

In the inventory sections of your report, the condition, description and notes sections will be pre-filled with the information from your last report, and you can then edit/amend as required and add new photos to your check out report:

Once you have completed your report and synced it back to the PC dashboard, you will have a number of options when downloading the final PDF, to choose what you would like the report to include.

More information about customising the PDF report can be found here.
