Does the mobile app work offline?

Yes our mobile app does work whilst offline for compiling your reports but you will need an internet connection to sync appointments and reports to and from the dashboard.

In order to download appointments to the app or to sync back reports to the PC dashboard, you will need an internet connection.

Login to the app using the same email and password you use for the dashboard. Click the synchronise button and download your appointments. Close the app but don't log out.

You do not need to have an internet connection whilst onsite at a property as the app will save all your report information and photos whilst offline provided you remain logged in.

Once you've completed your report at a property, it will need to be synced back to the PC dashboard which will need an internet connection. You can do this over a 3G/4G connection, however we recommend you use a good WiFi connection, particularly if you’ve taken lots of photos, so that you don’t unnecessarily use your mobile data allowance.

If you want to schedule an appointment in the app, you will need an internet connection momentarily, so the appointment is saved back on the dashboard. If you are using a Wifi-only tablet, you can use your phone as a hotspot to get a connection for a minute or so.

Other features in the app, such as voice dictation can be used with or without an internet connection, depending on your device. You may need to enable offline dictation in your device first. Check out this blog for more details.
