agentOS - how do I connect / disconnect my account with TouchRight?
Updated over a week ago

TouchRight integrates with agentOS, one of the leading software back office systems.

AgentOS is one of the letting and estate agent software products with a smart look and features, built by agents for agents. Connect your agentOS account to TouchRight for a fully integrated solution and share property and appointment data at the push of a button, meaning that no no double data entry is required.

What does the connection allow?

  • Property, landlord, tenant and appointment information will flow from agentOS into TouchRight, without the need to duplicate information.

  • Links to final reports will automatically be stored against the property in agentOS.

How to set up the integration

  • Click the ‘My Account’ tab in your TouchRight dashboard and choose ‘Integrations’ from the drop down menu (please note: this function is only available to Account Owners)

  • Contact agentOS to retrieve your access token and then enter your token in your TouchRight dashboard

  • Enter your agentOS Shortname - your agentOS ShortName is the unique client name provided by agentOS, please contact agentOS to retrieve your ShortName, for example 'touchright'

  • Click the 'Validate Token' button and select appointment types/branches to sync – please note if either the agentOS ShortName or Token is incorrect you will not be able to connect the two accounts

  • Ensure you edit your team User Profiles in TouchRight to make sure they have their agentOS User IDs configured

Alternatively, you can contact TouchRight with this information and we can set up the integration for you.

'Matching' properties

If you already have a TouchRight account with properties added, then those properties will need to be 'matched' with agentOS to avoid duplicates - please click the 'Match Properties' button in the Properties screen, to start this process. Properties will either be listed as:

  • Unmatched - click the pencil icon to find an agentOS property to match to. This should be done on any 'unmatched' properties, before clicking the 'Confirm' button.

  • Partially Matched - this means that a suggested match has been made - if the suggestion looks correct them click the 'Confirm' button.

  • Already Matched - nothing needs to be done, as these properties have successfully matched.

GDPR requirements

The initial default setting in TouchRight for sharing tenant and landlord information from agentOS to TouchRight is set to 'off'. If you want to be able to sync tenant and landlord details to TouchRight, you will need to:

  • First, enable GDPR settings in your agentOS account.

  • Then send an email to TouchRight support giving written permission for the tenant and landlord data to be shared with TouchRight - we will then set the permissions accordingly.
