Updated over a week ago

A convenient and discreet way for remote/lone workers to send customisable amber or red alert email notifications from the TouchRight app back to their office

This feature is designed to support your existing lone working policy and procedures. It conveniently and discreetly enables remote/lone workers to send customisable amber or red alert email notifications from the TouchRight app back to their office to notify colleagues of their whereabouts, ensuring safety and providing peace of mind for all parties.

Please note:

  • Any device used for sending alerts must have ‘location services’ enabled, and must have an internet connection at the time when an alert is sent.

  • Account Owners have user permissions to set up this feature.

To access the Lone Worker area on the dashboard:

  • Click the 'Account' tab in the left menu and select 'Lone Worker' in the dropdown.

Add a contact to receive alerts

  • Click the 'Add Alert Contact' button.

  • Choose from your listed users from the dropdown menu. Note that an alert contact must already be an existing user in your TouchRight account.

  • In the next box choose which type of alert that contact is to receive.

  • Click the 'Save' button.

Add an alert template

There are two alert options available:

  1. Amber Alert - you may choose to use this option to allow users to inform colleagues that they have started or finished at a property. An example might be 'I've arrived and about to start my inspection' or 'I've finished, left property OK' . One amber alert custom message can be pre-set on the dashboard.

  2. Red Alert - you may choose to use this option for more urgent or serious alerts. An example might be 'I am not here on my own' or 'Please contact me immediately'. One red alert custom message can be pre-set on the dashboard.

To add a new alert template select the 'Add Alert Template' button located in the grey banner.

Alert Notifications

If a user sends a red or amber alert, the 'Alert Contact' will be notified via email whereupon they can act according to your company policies on alert processes.
