How can I manage issues and tag in a report?
Updated over 11 months ago

You can 'tag' repairs and maintenance issues within the TouchRight app when at a property, and also 'tag' issues once you have synced the report back.

How to tag issues on the dashboard

When you are reviewing a report, you will see the 'tag' icon next to each question throughout your report:

Click the tag to start adding your issue which will pre-fill with any data you have added in the question in which the tag was clicked.

  • Add an issue name that means you can easily identify the issue.

  • Amend or edit the description as required.

  • Add the issue to category if relevant.

  • If there is a liability, decide if there is a charge to landlord, tenant or other (cost values can be added).

  • Include the issue in the PDF so that it is highlighted in red text so it's easy to identify.

  • Select photos to add to the issue.

  • Then click 'Create' to add the issue to TouchRight, or 'Create & Push to Plentific'/'Create & Push to Fixflo' if you have a connected Plentific/Fixflo account.

How to manage issues

You can access any issues that you have added to your reports, in the 'Issues' area which you can find in the left hand side menu, or click the Manage button in the Issues tile below the map.

You can then carry out a number of tasks on the issues:

  • Create issues report - select a number of issues using the tick box option on the left (shown above), and then click the 'Create Issues Report' button to download those selected issues into a PDF report (which includes any photos). These reports can be sent to contractors or landlords.

  • Edit, update, download, email or delete any issues - using the buttons in the Actions column shown above.

  • Download a CSV report (in Excel) - press the Download CSV button shown above, select the information you want to include across a customisable date range, and then press download (see below). This is a useful way to see all of the issues information in an easy-to-edit format.

Updating issue statuses

You can quickly mark any single issue as closed by clicking the tick next to any issue.

You can also update issue statuses in bulk, by selecting one or more issues (using the checkbox on the left), then clicking the 'Bulk Status Changer' button at the top.

Then review the list of issues you've selected, and use the status dropdown to change the status to New/In Progress/Closed as required, before clicking Confirm.
